Star Toe Rings

Star toe rings aren’t exactly original but they are very trendy and popular nonetheless. Star jewelry is a popular form of (ironically) non-conformist symbology used by punk rock girls, pagans, greasers and princess-types alike. In maritime references, the star is a symbol of safely finding the way home (and in life) using the stars in the sky to navigate.

Star toe rings are a recent extension of wearing stars. In Hollywood (for example) stars symbolize status as being judged through height and brightness. Recognizable and beloved actors are referred to as “stars.” Pagans wear stars that symbolize the directional and elemental constants of nature.

Star toe rings are worn by some not for the symbols they represent but just for the aesthetic value. Sometimes a star is just a star. The sharp angles aren’t inherently cutesy but pleasing to a wide range of people.
